The young fraudster Pete, after serving a due date, decides to quit with a dark past, trying on the guise of a former cellmate. Hiding from the local mafia, the guy joins the family business of that same cellmate. Over time, he realizes what a real family is, and even gains the love of his life, but past sins will not allow him to relax for a minute, threatening to destroy both the main character and his new life.
